Zach is a licensed social worker based in our Iowa City Office. With a strong foundation in both clinical and medical settings, Zach brings diverse experience from his time working in the Neurology Department at the University of Iowa Hospitals as a psychometrist, as well as in the Emergency Department at St. Luke’s in Cedar Rapids. These experiences have helped shape his empathetic, client-centered approach to therapy.

Zach works with individuals navigating a variety of concerns, with a particular passion for addressing men's issues and insomnia. He draws from an integrative approach, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). He strives to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their struggles and grow.

At the core of his therapeutic work is the belief that everyone deserves a space to share openly and work through life's challenges. Zach aims to help clients develop practical strategies for improving mental well-being while also cultivating self-compassion and mindfulness. He is dedicated to promoting mental health and wellness in all clients and is invested in supporting individuals in their journey toward addressing complex emotional concerns.
