Our Community Initiative
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
— Margaret Mead
About Our Community Initiative
One of our most prized values as a practice is a commitment to investing in the communities that we serve. To honor that commitment, we have developed a Communitive Initiative in which we annually identify 10-15 different nonprofit entities or community events in which we invest our resources to elevate the success of the event or to support the mission of the nonprofit entity. We also have our own internal program, GCS Gives, that works to support local community members in need of support or assistance.
If you represent an organization or cause that may benefit from our support please do not hesitate to reach out to us via our contact form. You can also email info@greencounselingservice.com directly. Please give us an overview of your organization/event and ways in which we may be able to assist in furthering your cause/mission.
We are very appreciative to our staff, providers, and volunteers who invest considerable time, energy, and effort to support the efforts our of community neighbors. Below are the organizations we are proud to support through local events and fundraisers.
About GCS Gives
GCS Gives is a program in which our organization connects with families and individuals who are in need of extra support in the form of material items or financial assistance. The goal of this program is for our organization to increase our philanthropic involvement within the communities that we serve and to offer a helping hand to those in need. We partner with other organizations to identify potential recipients for this program and also accept requests for support from anyone who reaches out to us. If you or someone you know would benefit from the GCS Gives program, please reach out to us via our contact page and provide as much information on how we could be of assistance as possible.
