Victoria is a licensed master social worker based in our Iowa City office who is passionate about providing support and care for youth K-12. Prior to Green Counseling, Victoria was therapist at a Psychiatric Mental Health Institution (PMIC) where she worked with a diverse population of children (5-17) experiencing Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Behavioral Disorders, Trauma, and more. Through a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, Victoria utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including: Play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic processing, and more. Victoria is dedicated to meeting children where they are at in non-judgmental way and creating safe space where they can authentically be themselves.
