Steve has been involved in helping people as a professional over a span of five decades, in a number of inpatient and outpatient settings. In clinical social work he’s treated a wide array of clients from 5 years old on up to folk well into their nineties, individuals, couples, groups, and families. Most recently he has been a campus mental health counselor at Butler Community College, providing clinical social work to traditional, nontraditional, and international students, faculty, and staff members. He’s also spent nearly 18 years as a chaplain for a diverse population at a drug and alcohol treatment center.
