Olivia (she/her/hers) is the clinical director and registered dietitian based in our West Des Moines office who specializes in disordered eating and eating disorders. Olivia uses a gentle, non-diet approach to nutrition and believes eating can be both enjoyable and flexible. Olivia recognizes that the journey to making peace with food looks different for everyone. She strives to meet individuals where they are and help them find hope in recovery.

Olivia has a unique understanding of the medical complexity of eating disorders. Prior to starting at Green Counseling Services, Olivia worked as a clinical dietitian for the University of Iowa’s eating disorder programs. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. Olivia was responsible for developing evidenced based nutrition protocols and facilitating individual and group nutrition sessions.

Olivia is currently working towards her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification.
