Nicole (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing in-person and telehealth services in our Waterloo office for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety/depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and borderline personality disorder (BPD), as well as those that are struggling with executive functioning skills, neurodivergence, autism, ADHD, and other life stressors/transitions. Nicole utilizes and is informed by various therapeutic approaches including person-centered, strength-based, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP). She continues to strive toward increasing her knowledge base and use of additional evidence-based therapeutic approaches to inform her practice and provide clients with the skills they need to reach their full potential.

Nicole enjoys working with clients of all ages to assist them with developing effective and positive coping strategies and emotional management techniques that will help them to achieve their goals. No matter what brings a client to therapy, Nicole is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative, and validating space that empowers clients to develop a positive sense of self and allows them to develop effective strategies to take control of their mental health, increase a sense of well-being, and create a life worth living.
