Kristen (she/her/hers) is an independently licensed social worker based in our Iowa City Office and works with a variety of presenting concerns in youth K-12. Kristen has experience in working with children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, behavioral disorders, adjustment disorders, and those experiencing parent-child relationship concerns. Kristen uses techniques from Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, and more.

Kristen is focused on helping children and adolescents gain emotional and behavioral stability so that they may improve their overall well-being and grow from their experiences. Kristen aims to create a safe, non-judgmental space for children and adolescents to be themselves.
