Clinical Specialties

Katie (she/her/hers) is a mental health counselor who works with individuals ages 16+. Katie treats each client individually and creates a supportive and non-judgmental environment for them to explore all aspects of themselves. Katie has experience working with a diverse population of clients with presenting concerns related to mood, anxiety, stress, academic problems, life transitions, complex medical concerns, and navigating relationships. She is passionate about the aging process issues concerning: memory, and maintaining independence.

Katie utilizes a variety of therapeutic models to meet the needs of each client including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and strengthening the therapeutic relationship. She believes in walking alongside the client while they work to find answers as opposed to directing the search. Katie is certified in Neurotherapy, and incorporates Neurotherapy techniques into sessions to help heal the body, as well as the mind.
