Jonah (he/him) is a licensed mental health counselor located in West Des Moines, providing both in-person and telehealth services. Jonah’s clinical experience includes in-home social work as well as mental health counseling with individuals working through addiction and other mental health disorders. While aiming to apply a Person-Centered approach to each of his clients, Jonah integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) into his therapeutic practice.

Jonah prioritizes an open and safe therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to discover and express themselves without fear of judgment. Jonah welcomes clients of all ages and has a special interest in working with young people as he believes they embody resilience and encourage hope for a brighter future.
