Elisabeth (she/her/hers) is a neurodivergent-affirming therapist and social worker based in our Coralville office. She is dedicated to creating a holistic healing environment and focused on empowerment for diverse populations of adults. Elisabeth places a strong emphasis on celebrating neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ affirmation, racial justice, and advocates for body positivity and/or neutrality through a Health At Every Size (HAES) lens.
Her therapeutic style is relaxed and integrates neurodivergent-affirmative therapy, feminist therapy, humanistic psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and systems theory-based approaches within a trauma-informed framework.
As a neurodivergent person, Elisabeth appreciates both the unique strengths and the challenges that come with having a brain that operates differently. She is dedicated to creating a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their identities, heal from traumas, and restore resilience.
