Elisabeth (she/her) is a neurodivergent-affirming therapist based in our Iowa City office. With over a decade of experience in mental health, she’s worked with individuals facing a range of challenges, from complex mental health and substance use issues to life transitions.

As someone who is autistic and ADHD, Elisabeth connects easily with neurodivergent adults, LGBTQIA+ folks, and anyone exploring trauma, identity, or difficult life changes. She’s also comfortable working with clients dealing with schizophrenia spectrum and bipolar disorders, providing a space that feels safe and non-judgmental.

Elisabeth’s work is about helping clients make sense of their experiences. She’s here to help with things like sensory overload, personal differences that others might view as deficits, and reflecting on how society and culture shape our lives. She’s particularly passionate about supporting marginalized communities, whether it’s race, cultural identity, gender, sexual orientation, or neurotype.

Her style is relaxed and flexible, focused on what works for you. Elisabeth understands firsthand how hard it can be to find a therapist who gets it, especially when it comes to identity, complexity, and personal challenges. Her goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are and figure out what healing looks like for you.
