Christina (she/her/hers) is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and an International Alcohol and Drug Counselor (IADC) based in our Coralville office. Christina received her Master of Arts degree in counseling from the University of Iowa. Christina offers therapy to adults over the age of 18.

Christina has a diverse background of experiences in a variety of settings within the Iowa City community. Her experience includes working with individuals in the areas of general mental health, substance use, Veterans’ issues, and undergraduate/graduate college experiences including medical school. She takes the approach that her clients have growth potential in all aspects of their lives and will collaborate with them to make the changes they want for their future. She strives to create a safe, supportive, therapeutic environment while finding the right fit for each client.

Christina has received specialized training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for substance use disorders, depression, and chronic pain. She has also received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
