Callie is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor based in the West Des Moines office, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions. As an LGBTQ+ identifying and affirming therapist, Callie is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment for all clients. Callie specializes in working with individuals aged 15 and older who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, OCD, trauma, and substance use concerns. With extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient substance use treatment, they understand the full continuum of care—from early intervention to higher levels of support. Using a whole-person, humanistic approach, Callie recognizes that healing is not one-size-fits-all. They integrate evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Additionally, Callie is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD and anxiety disorders, blending this with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients build resilience in the face of fear.
