Clinical Specialties

Beth (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and practicing psychotherapist in our Coralville office with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. Beth welcomes clients from the age of five to older adults with a variety of concerns, and offers individual, couples, and family therapy. With her background in Trauma-Informed Care training, Beth understands how important it is in meeting her clients “where they are at” in the healing process. As such, Beth’s therapeutic approach is non-judgemental, empowering, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She uses a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Training, and Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT).

Beth recognizes that life can be overwhelming, challenging, and, at times, traumatic. She works collaboratively with her clients to assist them in fostering compassion, love, and acceptance of the self, while also providing a safe space to process and work through life’s difficulties and hurts. Beth views her role as simply a guide in assisting her clients with accessing their inner strengths and resources to promote their own healing and overall well-being.
