Ashlyn (she/her/hers) is a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides services to children 7 years and older and adults of all ages. Ashlyn knows self-exploration is important in therapy, and alongside coping and problem solving skills, can create the path to growth, healing, and resilience. She utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach, and firmly believes that each and every person is the expert of their own lives. Ashlyn likes to walk side by side with individuals on their journey to gain a deeper understanding of themselves through identity work, worldview, attachment patterns, and core beliefs. Ashlyn understands that each person’s story is unique, and should be discovered in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. She offers a laidback, easygoing approach, often incorporating humor into the conversation. She works collaboratively with clients using a variety of therapeutic modalities based on individual needs including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Adlerian, mindfulness, and art therapy.
