Alexx Kwilinski is a dually board-certified nurse practitioner in mental health across the lifespan and adult primary care. She has 10+ years of healthcare experience in various settings including long-term care, community healthcare, inpatient mental health, and inpatient acute care medical settings. During her career, she has held multiple titles such as charge nurse, preceptor for countless undergraduate students, and she also was an instructor for clinical rotations to undergraduate University of Iowa BSN students in adult inpatient units at the University of Iowa Health Care. While working on her Defense for her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree, she focused on bringing awareness to social isolation and loneliness in a long-term care facility and assisted in utilizing evidence-based interventions to assist in reducing feelings of loneliness and decreasing social isolation.

She is committed to serving the mental health community. She strives to help clients achieve their full potential and reach their goals in a personalized manner that fits their specific needs and lifestyle. She also has a special interest in holistic health and wellness. She has clinical interest in disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality disorders, and more. She is an active member with the ANA and works diligently to remain up to date with current practice guidelines and areas for growth in professional development.
